No. You sign in with a User ID and password. Ask your workspace administrator for access. You don't need to share your contacts or address book.
Can my clients see each other?
Clients don't get a directory of other clients. They can talk to their administrator and assigned manager, or search an exact User ID and chat after an accepted connection request. In a group, members can see one another's aliases, User IDs and workspace names.
Can I use CTalk on my laptop?
Yes. Open CTalk Web and sign in with your existing User ID and password. No phone or installation is needed. QR linking from Android is also available, and you can revoke browser access from the app.
How do downloads and message deletion work?
You can save images, videos and documents. Voice notes play inline. Delete for me affects your view. Delete for everyone is available for your own messages within 48 hours. Downloaded files, forwarded copies and quoted replies may remain.
Are audio and video calls available?
Yes. One-to-one and group audio/video calls for up to 16 people are available in the current testing release. Open a conversation and tap the phone or camera icon. Calls need a working internet connection and microphone/camera permission. See release information.
What if I forget my password?
Contact your workspace administrator through a channel you already have. They can reset a client or manager password. There is no email or SMS recovery. Workspace admins use the platform's super-admin recovery process.
