A WORKSPACE FOR YOUR PEOPLE

Client and team chat.
With the right access.

Keep client conversations, managers and groups together in CTalk. Each workspace has its own accounts and permissions, managed from the same Android app or linked Web interface.

Give each person the access they need.

A super admin creates or approves each workspace administrator. The workspace admin then creates client and manager accounts, provides User IDs and passwords, and assigns clients to the right manager. CTalk does not currently offer open self-service workspace signup.

Clients start with a direct conversation with their admin. Assigning a manager adds a separate client-manager chat on both sides. Managers also have a private conversation with their workspace admin, so they can coordinate without adding a client to that discussion.

Admins, managers and clients can edit their own names and login details. Admins retain password-recovery access for the accounts they manage. See the account and password guide.

Keep client work easy to follow.

For a studio, service team or small business, a workspace can provide a direct conversation for each client. An admin can add a manager when someone else needs to help, while keeping other client conversations outside that manager’s assigned list.

Send project photos, documents, links and voice notes in the conversation. Reply to the relevant message, pin an active client chat and use mentions in groups to address a particular member. Clients use Tasks & issues to submit tracked requests. Owners use Work to create projects, organize Project Managers, Team Leads and Members, and delegate internal work. Record 0–100% progress, review submissions, then publish client testing updates. Internal discussion and client conversations have separate access. See how task assignment works.

Clients do not receive a general directory of other clients. A person who knows an exact User ID can send a connection request, and the recipient decides whether to accept. Learn how User ID messaging works.

Bring the right people into a group.

Create a group for people in your workspace. Cross-workspace invitations let other people join when they accept, subject to account permissions. Group members can see each other’s aliases, User IDs and workspace names, so group membership should be deliberate.

Use @ to mention a member and start an audio or video conversation when needed. Calls support up to 16 participants in the current testing release. You can invite another eligible contact during a call and rejoin an ongoing call after leaving. Explore group call controls and requirements.

One app for every role.

  1. Ask the platform super admin to create or approve your workspace.
  2. Sign in and create accounts for your clients and managers.
  3. Provide each person their User ID and password through a trusted channel.
  4. Assign managers and create groups for the people who need to collaborate.
  5. Link your computer if you prefer to manage conversations from a browser.

Get the official Android release and review the administrator recovery boundary. Account permissions and recovery do not replace careful handling of sensitive client information.
