YOUR USER ID. YOUR CONNECTIONS.
Private messaging.
No phone number needed.
CTalk brings messages, files and calls into a private space for your clients and team. Sign in with a User ID and password, without handing over a phone number, email address or address book.
Start a conversation with a User ID.
Your workspace administrator creates your account and gives you your login details. You can change your display name, User ID and password in My account. Downloading the app does not create an account automatically.
Admin and assigned-manager conversations appear in your chat list. To connect with someone else, open Find people, enter their exact User ID and send a request. A new private conversation opens only after they accept. There is no browsable directory of every user.
You can reject a request, cancel one you sent or remove an accepted connection. People you connect with can see your display name and User ID. Follow the User ID connection guide.
Text, photos and voice notes in one chat.
Send messages in real time, open shared links, reply to individual messages and use reactions. Delivery and read receipts help you follow a conversation. Pin chats you use often, mute alerts when needed, or star messages to find later.
Use the camera button in a chat to take a photo, review it and tap Send. On Android, you can also choose Share → CTalk from Gallery, a browser or a file app, then select a conversation and confirm. Each attachment can be up to 20 MB; a share batch supports up to 10 files and 100 MB total.
Voice notes play inside the chat and continue when you go back to the home screen. Android media controls let you pause, resume or stop. Photos, videos and documents can be downloaded; saving creates a copy outside the chat. Read the media and deletion guide.
Understand what private messaging protects.
CTalk encrypts messages and attachments on your device before upload. Your phone number and contacts are not needed to use the app. Calls use a relay to avoid exposing participants’ direct IP addresses to each other.
User IDs do not make a person untraceable. Your messages, voice and files can identify you, and hosting, network and push providers can observe connection information. Workspace administrators have recovery access for managed accounts. CTalk uses a custom encryption design without an independent cryptographic audit or forward secrecy.
Read the full privacy and recovery explanation before deciding what to share. Review linked devices and use explicit logout when you want to end access.
Chat on Android and your computer.
Download the official CTalk Android APK, sign in using the account your admin provides, and open a conversation. To use a laptop, link CTalk Web with a QR code from the signed-in Android app.
